About the project
This review paper examines how artificial intelligence can enhance computational methods used in aerospace engineering, a field reliant on simulation, testing and heavy computation. It analyses AI implementation across four areas: topology optimization, the finite element method, controls, and computer vision. The author argues that integrating AI into traditional engineering workflows can substantially reduce computational cost and time while enabling more complex structures and producing more accurate results faster. Drawing on existing research, the paper demonstrates that AI-assisted approaches allow engineers to explore designs that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive in time and energy. It concludes that AI is positioned to play an increasingly important role in the future of efficient, accurate aerospace system design.
