Eva Lestant is a PhD student at Stanford University specializing in development economics with a focus on the growth of small firms in urban areas. Before Stanford, she was a pre-doctoral fellow at SIEPR, collecting panel data in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She also conducted research at the CREST Center in Paris on the long-term effects of a national apprenticeship program in Côte d’Ivoire. Eva has teaching and mentoring experience, including a Stanford undergraduate development course TA role and mentoring a predoctoral fellow at the King Center, Stanford. She has also tutored students in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Joshua Woodend graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Literature, focusing on modern and postmodern texts. His undergraduate dissertation examined the ethics of reproduction in the work of Samuel Beckett. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Public Policy at University College London, with research interests in trade policy and international arbitration. Joshua has two months of full-time teaching experience in Tanzania, instructing children aged 4-16 in subjects ranging from basic math and English to IT skills and essay writing. Additionally, he has led courses on the English university admissions process for Japanese students over several years.

Benjamin Yang is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Columbia University, advised by Professor Steven Feiner in the Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Lab. His research explores immersive 3D user interfaces at the intersection of XR, human-computer interaction, and machine learning. Ben has contributed to real-world systems in defense, robotics, and scientific visualization, including projects funded by DARPA and the NSF. He has also held technical roles at Amazon Alexa AI, AWS CodeGuru, and Datadog. With a multidisciplinary foundation and strong mentorship experience, Ben brings both research depth and practical insight to his work.
