About

Qianya is a PhD student in Economics at Cambridge, researching labour economics with a focus on inequality and development. She has been an undergraduate supervisor for two years and conducts undergraduate admissions interviews for St Catharine’s and Murray Edwards Colleges. A passionate educator, she has mentored students from the UK, US, Germany, India, China, and Canada for over three years, and teaches software tools like Stata at Cambridge. Qianya enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds and brings both academic rigour and empathy to her mentorship.
