About

Eva Lestant is a PhD student at Stanford University specializing in development economics with a focus on the growth of small firms in urban areas. Before Stanford, she was a pre-doctoral fellow at SIEPR, collecting panel data in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She also conducted research at the CREST Center in Paris on the long-term effects of a national apprenticeship program in Côte d’Ivoire. Eva has teaching and mentoring experience, including a Stanford undergraduate development course TA role and mentoring a predoctoral fellow at the King Center, Stanford. She has also tutored students in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
