About
Danil is a first-year PhD student in economics at the École Normale Supérieure and Paris School of Economics, with research interests spanning labour, political, and health economics, as well as modern economic history. He completed an MPhil in Economic and Social History at the University of Cambridge, Queens’ College, where his research examined the early provision of public goods in nineteenth-century France, focusing on social norms and legal institutions. Prior to Cambridge, he worked as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Yale School of Public Health on the privatization of U.S. healthcare through Medicaid, contributing to peer-reviewed publications. In addition to his academic work, he has professional experience in management and data consultancy with multinational firms in healthcare and consumer electronics, and has taught French high school students preparing for the French Baccalaureate.
