Teaching & Mentoring Experience
My previous teaching experience includes two semesters as a teaching assistant: one in Organic Chemistry of Life for which I received a Certificate of Distinction in Teaching, and one in Chemical Biology. In my senior year of college I volunteered as a tutor in reading for an elementary student through Hatch Tutors and as a dance and literacy mentor for a an elementary student through Ballet and Books. I have two years of experience mentoring high school students interested in STEM with HPREP (Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program) through Harvard Medical School, where I helped the students create a presentation and proposal on a topic of their choosing in addition to help with college and summer program applications. I became a tutor with Tutoring Plus in January 2024, where I am a tutor and mentor to middle school students working on school assignments and helping them stay on track academically.
